At our school, the Academic Head of Year plays a crucial role in your child's learning journey. They closely monitor and review academic progress together with an Assistant Head, a Pastoral Support Officer,  a Pupil Premium Lead, and a Learning Support Representative. This collaborative approach ensures that every student receives the support they need to thrive.

In Key Stage Three, the Learn to Learn Programme, delivered during tutor time, ensures your child is equipped with the necessary skills to access the curriculum. This program helps students develop essential skills such as problem-solving, creative thinking, and transferable skills.

In Key Stage Four the Good Study Habits Programme, ensures that your child understands the best ways to tackle the GCSE years.

Our Academic Peer Mentoring gives our more senior, and trained, mentors the chance to support the progress of their peers.
