The U14 Girls also played in their 7-a-side tournament, winning 5 matches and drawing 2, narrowly losing out on first place, eventually finishing as runners up. Player of the Match was Georgia Coram.

Indoor Athletics

Our Year 8s have been busy competing in the District Sports Hall Athletics competition; both the Boys and the Girls did extremely well.

The Girls dominated both the Track and Field events, winning overall, and the Boys won the Track side of the competition and managed 2nd overall.

Girls' Team: Georgia Anderson, Lauren Attwell, Sandra Benjamin, Ruby Blakeley, Maddie Downer, Amelia Green, Evie Hornsby, Emma Lincoln

Boys' Team: Ollie Baldaro, Reuben Barker, Felix Bowling, Mark Dall, Jayden Flaherty, Reuben Hutchinson, Thisath Kularatna, Jamie Peacock

The Year 8 Girls have also taken part in the South Kesteven Indoor Tournament, with two teams in the competition.

The A team won all but one game and that game was a draw. They showed strength in the defensive play and they attacked at pace creating shooting opportunities which they generally converted.

The B team also worked very hard and finished 4th overall, again with a good team performance, but could not quite match the conversion rate to get the overall wins.

A Team: Isla Mackie, Evie Hornsby, Emma Lincoln, Lauren Attwell, Georgia Anderson

B Team: Ellie Morgan, Violet Farrell, Rosie Davy, Ruby Blakeley, Maddie Downer, Emily Samuel

Meanwhile, the U13 Boys played Thomas Deacon Academy (outside) with the A team winning 2-0 and the B team winning 1-0.  Players of the Tournament were James Hornsby and Aakash Patel.
