More Rowing success, plus some Rugby results


Grace Niklasson was presented with two trophies at the Peterborough City Rowing Club Annual Ball at the weekend, for Oarsman with the Most Wins this Season & Most Promising Newcomer.

Not to be outdone, at the Milton Keynes Regatta, Joe Beasley won the Gold in the J14 Single Scull while Bert Papworth came in second behind him to win Silver. Joe and Bert also paired up to win Gold in the J14 Doubles.


Year 8 v Hampton College, lost 5-15. Dan Hughes scored a try. Man of the Match was Harry Pinguenet.

Year 8 v Hampton Gardens School, won 30-0. Tries were scored by Rueben Hutchinson, Harry Pinguenet (2), Stephen Bowen, Jonny Aig Imuru, and Ollie Baldaro. Man of the Match was Stephen Bowen.

Year 9 v Hampton College, lost 10-30. Joe Beasley scored 2 tries. Man of the Match was Frank Roger.

Year 10 v St Ivo Academy (National Cup), won 41-5. Tries were scored by Lucas Niklasson (2), Duncan Hoyland (2), Eddie Brennan, Rohan Morgan, and Robert Braybrook. Eddie Brennan scored 3 conversions. Lucas Niklasson was Man of the Match.

Year 10 v Hampton College, won 26-7. Tries were scored by David Ochular, Lucas Niklasson, and Duncan Hoyland (2). Again, Eddie Brennan achieved 3 conversions, this time earning him Man of the Match.
