The Library has twenty-one networked computers and sixteen netbooks, plus twenty-nine iPads for use within the Library or classrooms.

There are also six digital still cameras and six digital camcorders for use within school.

There is seating for thirty-two downstairs, sixteen upstairs and twenty-one in the Wolfson Room.

The Library maintains a Careers Library with books and leaflets on careers information, university and college prospectuses and access to a variety of careers information databases. Some resources are located in the UCAS Room.

Book Club runs weekly on a Tuesday break time, to which all are welcome. Various competitions and events are celebrated throughout the School year, such as National Poetry Day and World Book Day.

Pupils have access to the Library catalogue, Oliver, from inside and outside school. Oliver is a database of all the available resources, such as:

  • Books
  • eBooks
  • Audiobooks
  • DVDs
  • Journals
  • Selected websites

You can use Oliver to help with research for homework. It not only gives links to relevant and appropriate websites, but will also let you know what books you need and if they are currently available in the Library.
