The Finance Office provides support to students, parents and staff. They process all payments and payment enquiries regarding:
Collection of all other monies
Payments to the school (other than purchases made in the School Shop) can only be accepted in the Finance Office, and not by any other members of staff.
The Finance Office is open to students at the following times:
8.20 - 8.35
11.35 - 12.00
1.15 - 2.20
We are happy to welcome parents / carers who wish to visit the Finance Office to make payments, but recommend that you avoid the times we are open to students in order that we can give you our full attention.
As a parent/carer you will have received a letter inviting you to use our online payment service. This allows you to make payments for your child’s trips, events and dinner money over the internet using a secure website.
The school finance office staff will be adding the relevant trips to the website during the course of the year.
No purchases from the canteen may be made in cash. Each student is provided with a ‘swipe card’ which provides access to the door entry system, as well as acting as a debit card for making purchases in the canteen.
It is the responsibility of each student, in conjunction with their parent / carer, to ensure that there are sufficient funds paid into their account before making purchases. Students who spend more than the money available will have their card retained until further funds are deposited.
You can see what money has been spent by logging on to our online Caternet statements website at http://www.upay.co.uk/ - for instructions on how to register for this site, see here. Requires Adobe PDF Reader

A number of parents, carers, and former students support the school by making a donation, either as a one-off, or regular payments.
If you would like to make a donation, either as a one off or as a regular commitment, then you can Gift Aid the donation to increase the value.
Gift Aid is a simple scheme that allows charities to recover the tax paid on donations made in the last four years. This means you can increase your donation by 25 pence for every £1 you give at no extra cost to yourself.
If you are a UK tax payer and not already using an alternative tax scheme such as the Charities Aid Foundation or Payroll Giving, you can Gift Aid your donations now.
You can add Gift Aid to your donation now by downloading and completing our Gift Aid declaration form.
If you would like to make a regular donation, please complete the Standing Order form and send this to the Finance Office, who will liaise with your bank to arrange the payments.
Raise funds when you shop online
You can support the school by registering with Easyfundraising and using their link whenever you shop online with a number of popular retailers. This costs you nothing—but raises valuable income for the school.
Payments for trips are only accepted in the Finance Office and on-line. Signed consent forms must be submitted at the time of payment.
The new 16-19 Bursary is designed to support those students who are experiencing the most severe financial hardship, to continue in full-time education at The King’s School, by removing immediate barriers to participation.
