The King's (The Cathedral) School

Peterborough

This activity aims to bring Elizabethan theatre to life.  During the day, students will take part in a number of fun, interactive activities; they will be introduced to the play’s key themes, characters, plot and aspects of stagecraft. The day will climax in a live performance of 'A Midsummer Night’s Dream', provided by Quantum Theatre, which will take place in Peterborough Cathedral Cloisters.

Pupils should wear practical, comfortable clothing which may very well get dirty during the day!  They should be able to move around easily. They should also bring a packed lunch and a drink.

The day will take place in School in the morning, moving to the Cathedral in the afternoon, and will run from 8.40am to 3.30pm.  Parents can pick up from the Cathedral at 3.30pm, otherwise students will be accompanied back to School.
