Our Year 9 Boys, Year 9 Girls and Year 10 boys teams were all crowned overall champions and our Year 10 Girls team finished a very credible second.

Individually in the year 9 boys James Quinn and Felix Anderson finished second and third in the hurdles, as did Enoch Opayinka and Kelvin Benjamin in the 100m. Enoch then followed this up with a second place in the 200m event. Toby Charlton took a gold medal in the 300m, and our 4 x 100m relay team finished second. In the field events Toby Charlton was second in the long jump and George Harrison took a convincing win in the discus, beating the rest of the field by over 6m.

In the year 9 girls competition Charlotte Bennett won the sprint hurdles and Georgia Harrison took silver in the 100m and bronze in the 200m finals. Izzy Smith was third in the 800m race, as were our relay team in the 4x100m. In the field events Nell Papworth won the shot putt and Anna Rutterford took gold in the javelin, with Charlotte Bennett finishing in third. Charlotte went on to win the high jump, Poppy Lyons won the long jump and Ella ward finished third in the triple jump.

For the year 10 boys, Jasper Kidd took victory in the hurdles, as did Daniel Laxton in the 400m final. Sam Jarrett was third in the 800m and Owen Wilkinson led Angus Lawrence home for a King's one-two in the 1500m. Austin Brennan and Jack Tyers were second and third respectively in the discus and Jasper Kidd won the javelin event. Ted Coles was third in the high jump and Sam Gardiner and Thomas Jackson produced another one-two in the triple jump.

Finally for the year 10 girls, Elena Baldry finished third in both the hurdles and the 300m finals, with Katie Tasker taking the silver medal in the later. Katie then romped to victory in the 1500m race winning by over a minute and the 4x100m relay quartet held on to their baton to win gold. Karla Sharratt took silver in the javelin as did Charlotte Martin in the long jump and Elena Baldry in the high jump.
